A trio of Zaub, the top one is Dunst colored using the Chunky Oil Pastels, the middle one is Achtung, "painted" with the Wet Round Gouache, and the bottom one is a random Zaub done using the Pastel tools.
The Zaub are one of the three main intelligent species on Tae-Kahn and have what is called the "Zaub Gift" or Kech (those that have it are called Kechen). Virtually all Zaub are Kechen, which means they are able to manipulate elements, such as, in Dunst's case, Silver.
